Foresna´s activities go beyond our region, participating in European projects.

We are interested in exploring what happens in our region and its surrounding areas, but we also consider very important to broaden our horizons, in order to be able to guarantee a complete service to our members.

Foresna is involved in the Forsee project, where it plays a disseminator role, informing managers and the wider community of the importance of certain practices that guarantee a sustainable management of forests, as well as promoting the work carried out by Forsee. Foresna is also in charge of informing of the characteristics of the “Forest Certification Systems” in force. Once the project has been completed, Foresna will make its results available on its magazine and website.

The Silvair project is made up of 25 actions of general interest. Foresna has proposed to take on three of them: “The regeneration of abandoned woods through the creation of jobs in other to revitalise the woodlands”; “The improvements of forestry techniques through the sharing of technology and know-how” and “The follow-up of the Eco-certification initiatives of forests in the Pyrenees”.
